Es ist mal wieder soweit!
Wir werden am 07.03. in Paderborn in der Kulturwerkstatt auftreten.

30. Merry Meet, euch allen
Der Studiotermin für unser 5tes Album ist für Anfang Oktober bestätigt, aber zuvor werden wir im August noch eine Vorproduktion machen.
Wir rechnen mit der Veröffentlichung im Frühjahr '09.
Wir sind davon überzeugt das die Warterei sich für euch definitiv gelohnt hat!
Unser nächstes Album wird "Consort of the Dying God" heißen und das erste konsequente Konzeptalbum von GOM sein. Mit eine Spiellänge von ca. 60 Minuten beschreiten wir GOM-typisch den Wiccan Way.
Wir sind übrigens kein Stück von diesem abgekommen oder gar auf den "Pagan-Zug" aufgesprungen, der sich gerade größter Beliebtheit erfreut. Wir haben uns vielmehr in ungarischer und rumänischer Folklore vergraben und präsentieren euch hiermit eine weitere Facette von GOM...

29. Merry Meet, all of you
We’ve got news for you!
The studio dates for our 5th album are confirmed and thus we are starting the recording sessions in early October this year. Before that, we will do a pre-production in August,
We are expecting to see the release of the new one in early spring 09.
But I can tell you, it will be worth the wait, most definitely! Our next album will be entitled „Consort of the Dying God“ and is a full concept album featuring at least 60 min of very heavy and very Wiccan Metal the GOM way.
Talkin‘ bout this we will not stray a single inch from the Wiccan Way by jumping on the current „Pagan“ band wagon! We delved deep into hungarian and romanian folklore, so you’re in for yet another new facet of GOM...

28. Konzert-Info
Hallo Leute!

Es gibt mal wieder eine Neuigkeit von uns zu vermelden.

Wir werden im Rahmen der CD - Releaseparty unserer Freunde von Dawn Of Destiny Live auftreten.

27. Neues Line-Up
Und wieder dreht sich bei Goat Of Mendes das Personal-Karussell!

Maia wird uns Live leider nicht mehr zur Verfügung stehen.
Es war bereits in der Vergangenheit schwierig für sie, Zeit für die Auftritte freizuschaufeln
und verspricht in Zukunft unmöglich zu werden.
Sie wird allerdings weiterhin im Studio zur Verfügung stehen.

Larz hat ebenfalls seinen Dienst aus persönlichen Gründen quittiert.
Er hat sich aber in aller Freundschaft und Fairness von der Band getrennt und
seinen Nachfolger "Seeb" komplett eingearbeitet.

Larz' Abschiedskonzert wird am 28.04. im Bahndamm / Wermelskirchen stattfinden und
wir freuen sich bereits darauf, den ersten Gig mit dem neuen Gitarristen Seeb am 11.05. im Cage Club / Bottrop zu bestreiten.

26. New Line-Up
We have had some changes in our Line-Up.
Maia won't be able to join us on stage anymore. It has already been difficult in the past, but gotten impossible at latest. But she will still be of help taking over female vocals in the studio.

Larz also left the band for personal reasons. But he quitted as a friend and also introduced our new guitarist Seeb to his parts.
Larz will play the 28th of April as his farewell gig and we look forward to Seeb showing up on stage on the 11th of May for the first time.

24. GOM goes MySpace
It has been silent for a long time, but there's life in the old dog yet.

We got fresh blood and are currently working on the material for our fifth album. Two brand new songs are already finished, a third is to come within a short time.

Our new drummer Nik has been familiarised so far and we have gotten the first offers for gigs in 2007.

Also we have created a MySpace account by receiving many questions for one mainly from you guys abroad.
You will find unreleased pictures and additionally a live track to download there with some other information.

23. GOM goes MySpace
Lange ist hier nichts mehr passiert.

Aber totgesagte leben ja bekanntlich länger und wir haben eine Frischzellen-Kur hinter uns, die uns am Material für unser fünftes Albums arbeiten läßt.
Es sind auch schon zwei neue Songs fertig, ein dritter ist bereits in der Mache.

Nik ist soweit eingearbeitet und wir haben auch schon die ersten Angebote für Live-Gigs im nächsten Jahr vorliegen,

Nicht völlig untätig, haben wir uns einen MySpace-Account zugelegt.
Hier findet ihr neben unveröffentlichten Bildern auch einen ebensolchen Live-Song zum Download.

22. GOM - New Drummer
After eight months of searching for a new drummer, the position has been taken over by Nikolas.
He is 28 years old and is a certified music pedagogue and drum teacher.
Playing nearly 20 years, we are happy about him joining us.

We will barricade to our rehearsal room ca. 4-5 months to rehearse old songs and
create new stuff. We think of being again ready for stage in late spring.
